On March 30th, 2020 in the early morning hours Ronald Morrison Bell left his earthly residence to enter his heavenly residence where he was greeted by his wife Alice, his mother Doris and father Thomas and numerous family members.
Ronald was born in New Castle-on-Tyne, England on July 28, 1932. After surviving the war in England, Ronald came to the United States in 1951. Ronald was a retired Manager for the General Electric Company. He had many talents. He sang in a Quartet, was a very talented woodworker, avid hunter and played the bagpipes with the NC State University Pipe and Drums in Raleigh. He was often asked to play "Amazing Grace" at funerals in the Raleigh area.
He was a devoted husband to Alice Bell for over 50 years. She preceded him in death in 2019. He is survived by his sons Richard Bell and wife Lisa, Jeffery Bell and wife Robin, step children Lynda Bache and husband Bill, Pamela Schaefer and husband Nathan, Lester Walker and wife Barbara, five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, nine step grandchildren and ten step great-grandchildren and by his devoted dog, Kinzie
Ronald was preceded in death by his wife Alice, mother Doris (nee Potts) Bell, father Thomas Morrison Bell and by his daughter Kathleen Bell.
