Paul met his Lord at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday, August 18, 2011. Paul’s family was by his side.
Paul was born October 21, 1921 in Linton, Indiana. He was the son of James Curtis and Lula Patsy Moody. Paul was preceded in death by his parents Curt and Lula Moody; and brothers James Leon Moody and Garlan M. Moody of Linton, Indiana.
He was married to Norma Moody, his loving wife for 62 years. He is also survived by his nine nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Larry Paul and Connie Moody.
Paul was a World War II Army Air Force pilot in the European Theater and flew reconnaissance missions over Belgium, France and Germany.
Paul worked for IBM as an Engineer in the manufacturing division for 29 years and retired from IBM in January 1984.
Visitation will be on Sunday, August 21, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 E. Millbrook Rd, Raleigh 27609. The memorial service will be Monday, August 22, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Bethany Hills Baptist Church, 11701 Leesville Road, 27613. Officiating the service will be Rev. Michael Yarborough and Rev. Jonathan Rodgers, and Rev. Joseph Henton III.
