Mike was employed by the Department of Health and Human Services for 27 years. Mike was an avid Carolina Fan and loved following different sporting events. He was also very active with Bowling. His favorite place to be was on the Beach.
Mike is survived by his wife, of 28 years, Susan Kearney; daughter, Brittany; son, Mikey, of Raleigh; mother, JoAnne Eaton, of Elm City; father, Bill Kearney, of Raleigh; sister, Lisa Partin and spouse Tony and their two children Brandon and Brooke, of Raleigh.
A funeral service will be held Sunday January 5, 2014, at Raleigh Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, 7501 Glenwood Ave., Raleigh NC 27612, at 1:00 pm. His family will receive friends following the service in the Mausoleum Chapel.
