Mary was the first genera¬tion of her family to be born in America after her parents emigrated from Ireland. She was always proud of her heri¬tage. She met and married the love of her life, William James Riddle, and they raised four children together. Mary was a member of the 55+ Club and a member of Asbury United Methodist Church in Raleigh for more than 20 years.
She is survived by two daughters, Penny Moore and husband, Eric, and Sue Burke and husband, Dennis, both of Raleigh; and two grandsons, Ryan Michael and Eric Edward Moore. In addition to her hus¬band William James Riddle, Mary was preceded in death by a son, William James Riddle and a daughter, Barbara Mary Lacari.
A Memorial Service will be held Monday at 7:00 PM at Mitchell Funeral Home, 7209 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27612.
