Judith Hanna Lehman

Judy Hanna Lehman, 72, passed away at her home in Raleigh after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was born in Coatesville, PA, graduated from Millersville University and taught school for several years in PA and VA prior to accepting a position as a full time “Mom”.

Judy and her husband of 48 years, Russ, resided in Raleigh, NC for the past 28 years, where she enjoyed traveling, reading, a membership at St. Philip Lutheran church, participation in newcomers and playing bridge. Most important to Judy was her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alva and Bertha Hanna of Coatesville, PA. She is survived by two sisters, Nancy Hanna, Deidre Hosier and brother, Alva, all of Chester County, PA. Her daughter Anne, son-in-law, Amir Mehr and three grandchildren; Matthew, Madelyn, and Harrison reside in North Raleigh after 12 years in the United Kingdom.

A memorial service will be held at St. Philip Lutheran Church, 7304 Falls of Neuse Rd., Raleigh on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at 11:00 a.m.

The family wishes to thank many people for their support during Judy’s battle. The Rex Surgical Specialist with Dr. Podnos and the Rex Oncology Team led by Dr. Boles, who were always there for us.
