John Arthur Dunning

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Ikijeanne Lee Dunning; his children, Julie Cameron and husband Chris, of Sanford, Lara Line and husband Dan, of Raleigh, John C. Dunning and wife Tonya, of Loveland OH, and George Dunning and wife Annalisa, of Beverly, MA. He will also be dearly missed by his 12 precious grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and by his sister, Jane Spaulding and her husband Joe, of Loveland, OH.

He graduated from Miami University, Ohio and worked for the USDA at the NC State University. John was very active in his church, North Ridge Church. He was an avid woodworker and enjoyed making many items for family and friends.

The family will receive friends and family on Tuesday October 16, from 7:00-9:00 pm, at Brown Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 E. Millbrook Rd., Raleigh. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 17, at 1:00 pm, North Ridge Church, 7601 Falls of Neuse Rd., Raleigh NC 27615. Graveside services will follow at Raleigh Memorial Park.
