Jane was born in Washington, NC ot the late Jane Kirkpatrick Phillips and Kenneth Phillips. She had been employed with Golden Corral, Kaiser and most recently, Highwoods Properties.
She is survived by her brother, Kirk Phillips and his wife, Kathy; niece, Kelly Callis; and nephew, Kenneth Phillips all of Raleigh.
A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 E. Millbrook Road, Raleigh, NC 27609. The family will receive friends 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. A reception will follow the service at Skinny Dips at Quail Corners.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society; or Hospice of Wake County.
