Harold Ronald (Ron) Banks, Jr., 64, of North Fort Myers, FL, and formerly of Raleigh, died in faith on July 19, 2018. Ron was born on May 10, 1954, in Memphis, TN, to Harold and Virgie Banks. After graduating from Millbrook High School in 1972, he pursued both study and a career in studio art.

He enjoyed listening to Christian radio, reading Decision Magazine, and listening to his brother’s sermons streaming on the web. Additionally, Ron delighted in talking daily with his mother, seeing his nieces and nephew, and talking religion and politics with friends.

Banks (Jerri) of New Bern; four nieces and one nephew: Anna McCormick (Justin) of Raleigh, Erin Harbinson (Greg) of Raleigh, Sarah McLeod (Darren) of Graham, Joeli Banks of Wilmington, and Timothy Banks of Morehead City; one grandnephew Jaylin McLeod; and a large extended family.
