Eleanor C. Jackson, age 83, of Raleigh, North Carolina, wife of the late David R. Jackson, passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022. Eleanor was born April 6, 1938 in Marion, VA, to the late George Neal and Leta Box Cummings.
Eleanor is survived by her children, Mark David Jackson, and his wife, Brandi, of Charlotte, NC. Angelia J. Clary, and her husband, Kerry, of Henrico, NC; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brothers, Buddy Cummings of Marion, VA, Joe Cummings, and his wife, Beth, of Roanoke, VA; and numerous Nieces and Nephews.
A funeral service will be held Friday, January 28, 2022 at 11:00am in the Mausoleum Chapel at Raleigh Memorial Park. Officiating will be Rev. Craig Gaither.
