James Oldham

Mr. James Edward (Joe) Oldham of Raeford went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, December 4, 2020 at the age of 75.Joe was born in Hoke County on March 9, 1945 to the late Eulus and Catherine Oldham. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cherry Dennis Oldham, two sister, Betty Douglas, and Lois Mitchel. He attended Bethel Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed farming in Hoke County and retired from Springs Industries in Laurel Hill in 2004.He is survived by a son Christopher Aaron Oldham of Raeford, NC; a daughter Tina Kaercher and her husband Steve of Gainesville, FL; Four grandchildren; two sisters Patricia O. Campbell of Raeford, NC and Sandra O. Lunsford and her husband Larry of Raeford, NC; three brothers Billy Oldham and his wife Jewel of Rockingham, NC, Benny L. Oldham of Raeford, NC and Eulus Oldham Jr. and his wife Kathy of Raeford, NC; several nieces and nephews.A visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at Crumpler Funeral Home in Raeford.Funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Monday, December 7, 2020 at Bethel Presbyterian Church with Reverend James Wilhide officiating. Burial will be in the Raeford Cemetery.Services have been entrusted to Crumpler Funeral Home of Raeford.
