Dorothy E. Hemingway, of Quincy and Cohasset, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2024 after a brief illness. Loving wife of the late David William Hemingway. Devoted mother of Sharon Moody and husband Bob of Cohasset and David W. Hemingway III of Weymouth. Grandmother of Rob Moody and his wife Caroline and Will Moody and his wife Eileen, Julie Hemingway and her wife Kate and great-grandchildren, Jillian, Sydney, Claire, Lili, Jack and Gabe. She was the sister of William Cowley (deceased), John Cowley (deceased), Marjorie Ciavardone of Squantum and Everett Cowley and his wife Nancy of Dayville, CT. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 1:00pm at Deware Funeral Home, 576 Hancock Street, Quincy, Massachusetts.
Burial will be private
