Bruce P. "Swede" Hutt 90 years of age, passed away at the Massachusetts General Hospital, on November 22nd 2013. Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, his family moved to Quincy, where he remained for his entire life.
He was a graduate of North Quincy High School class of 1942, after which he served in the U.S. Marine Corp Aviation Unit VMF 225, which saw action in the Marianas, New Hebrides and Guam. Bruce worked as an architect for Perry, Shaw, Hepburn and Dean Architects in Boston for 46 years (now Perry, Dean and Rogers). He attended his 71st class reunion for the class of 1942 in October.
Bruce was pre-deceased by his beloved wife of 54 years Patricia Nadine (Cox) Hutt in July of 2000. He is survived by his loving son Vincent Hutt of Weymouth and several nieces and nephews. Services were private.
