Uncle Roy was my guy, “that guy” that we all looked forward to seeing at a family event. I always enjoyed talking about cars, work, life, and everything else far and in between.  Uncle Roy gave me a lot of great life advice that I’ll remember forever. His memory will forever live on. Uncle Roy is an inspiration to all young men of what it’s like to be a successful man who remains humble. Love you forever Uncle Roy, see you again one day.

I will truly miss him,  but I see many of his wonderful traits in each of you! Uncle Roy had a way of making the ordinary feel extraordinary. I used to call him "Señor Frog." When I was a kid, I saw him wearing a Señor Frog Bahamas shirt and asked, "What is that?" He told me, "That's a place you'll have to wait a long time before you can visit." Then, when I got older and went on my first girls' trip, I went to him and said, "Guess where I’m going? Señor Frogs!" He laughed so hard.
The Fourth of July was his carnival. He would show up fully equipped with fireworks and sparklers. I always thought, "Wow, he’s so brave" as he lit the most complicated-looking fireworks. He wasn’t afraid. He lit up when he talked about his kids, always setting a shining example of what family truly means.
Uncle Roy’s legacy is one of love, compassion, and joy. It’s one of family. The pain of knowing we will have to live the rest of our lives without him is hard to bear. The truth is, for the time we were fortunate enough to have him in our lives, he made us better people. Fly high, Señor Frog.

It’s difficult to pick a favorite moment or example to encapsulate how amazing Uncle Roy was. Whether it be watching him and my dad co-captain our annual cricket games, roasting marshmallows for s’mores in the Poconos, or the time he promised me a coca-cola and ten dollars if I gave a nice speech at a family party when I was a little rascal. Uncle Roy was good to everyone, no matter the time, place, and occasion. He made hard moments easier and brought a spark of fun with him everywhere. He remembered things about you that made you feel important. And he loved his family more than anything. His kids beam when they speak about him and the love they share as a family is something people dream about. There’s a hole in all of our hearts. We gained an angel and there’s a new ray of sunshine in the sky as bright and warm as our family moments together made us all feel.

May you sleep in Heavenly peace and may the comfort of the Lord be with the family.

Behalf of the Jaguar cricket  family  we have lost an amazing brother and friend. Who would ever  imagine Saturday would’ve been the last we all see u playing the game, you love and having fun with ur boys.😓 . Rest in eternal peace Roy 🕊️ .You will be greatly missed by us all.

We can’t believe you left so soon Roy it was heartbreaking and shocking  news this cricket team has ever received we still cannot believe you are gone. This cricket team will never be the same again. You will truly be missed by each and everyone of us fly high rest in peace.

My deepest condolences to the family. Uncle Roy was truly one of the best—he had a heart of gold and was made of the finest character. He will be deeply missed. I remember when Uncle Roy and Aunty Sattie used to babysit me and my brother Mikey when we were little. He would make a smiley face on my eggs with ketchup, always adding a special touch. He was there for me at my eighth-grade graduation, and the first time I went to Florida, he and Aunty Anita took me, creating memories I’ll always cherish.
