Deb was a friend to many.  As the days pass and I think of her my sadness turns to happiness of moments we shared.  Just hearing her voice calling me friend with her southern accent.  She shared with me her life.  How her parents were struggling.  Happy memories of her younger days.  Swinging, swimming.  And how important her children are to her and how much she loves them.  Times they went camping and even through the turbulent times as we all experience.  Deb worked hard and then she liked to socialize too.  I am blessed to have been able to share time with her at work and mostly when we shared a meal and giant margaritas!  I will hold my friend in my heart and never let her go.  God Bless the Mitchells.  May God grant you peace and always hold on to your faith.

Deborah was my friend as well as a co-worker.....I will miss seeing her everyday but she will now be an angel to watch over us.

My mom showed me courage in her scariest moments, love in her angriest moments, and strength in her weakest moments. This woman will forever be my role model. She perfectly molded me into the person I am today and I just hope I can spread as much happiness and joy to the world as she did. She is and will always be my best friend. 💜

So very sorry to hear of Debbie's passing. As many others, I share lots of fond memories sitting together at ballgames. She dearly loved her children. Praying for comfort for you all.

The Schotts and the Mitchells were thick as thieves growing up! It seemed like every 6 to 8 weeks we'd get together. We kids always begged to be allowed to sleep over. At least once, we got a flat driving home and got to spend the night.

Debbie, Allie and I spent a week together every summer while Donna, Chris, Matt and John spent the week together. I always asked Debbie and Allie to bring Mousetrap when they came to my house.

A trip East was not complete without visiting the Mitchells. After I was married, my family stopped to see Debbie on our way to my FIL's house. It wasn't a long stop, enough to scare the daylights out of Debbie. She was working and Ingrid brought us to the house. Becky didn't recognize Ingrid's voice so she stayed quiet. Becky wasn't answering the phone either. So Debbie raced home thinking Becky had gone missing. Fortunately, Becky was home being safe, hiding from strangers.

I am so grateful I joined the group at Otter Lake. It's been such a blessing to reconnect with everyone and introduce the second cousins to each other.

Debbie, we'll miss your sausage and bacon breakfasts. I hope you're having a ball with Jacquelyn, Nana, Aunt Sadie and all the others waiting for you in heaven. Love and miss you always!

This was Debbie with Rebecca when she graduated nursing school. Because of COVID, Rebecca wasn't able to have a traditional pinning ceremony/graduation, so we threw one at their house. I don't have any pictures of Debbie with Noah, but I know that she loved and was SO proud of everything that they both did. 💛💛

I am so very sorry you have lost your mom at such a young age. I too am going thro' this journey of impending loss of my mom, tho' much older than yours. Prayers for peace & comfort in the days ahead.

When I first met Debbie (Deborah is what i like to call her) she was a new mom to precious baby girl Becky Boo🩷 Her pride and joy. LITERALLY her world.  I was still waiting tables at the restaurant and she was helping out with payroll and such and then often we would just hang out. Her laugh was so infectious and her stories of just about anything were so fun to hear.  As the years went on she had Noah and I my Sara and they were often together daily.  When  Lil John (my husband) would go on hunting trips i could always count on Deborah to help me out with the kids and make sure we all had dinner. I’m not domestic at all but she always was 😀 She kept my Sweet Sara for a few years while i worked and then went on to get them on the bus for me for the next several years.  She was always there for my girls.  You could catch her supporting her babies and mine too. That’s just the kind of friend and mama she was.  We have been through many things together times I will forget nor do I want to 🤍 
Becky Boo and Noah never doubt for a second the love of your mother.  May you hold those memories near and dear. I will miss her but she will never be forgotten———— All my love Deborah until we meet again 🩷

My entire family is just stunned by this sudden loss… Debbie was such a beautiful soul! Her children were the priority in her life! She treated my son just like her own, and took them all on many adventures. We all were involved in youth sports and Debbie definitely earned “mom of the year” status from us many times! She will be deeply missed by us, I pray that her family finds peace through this. Why do the really good people go so young?

I am very sorry, my dearest condolences to you.  Debbie will be dearly missed. She was funny and great to hang out with.  My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
