Kay Gibson, a resident of Village Green in Federal Way, WA passed away on January 4, 2014. She was born in Aurora, Illinois on April 19, 1928 to Burrell and Clara Conover. She grew up in Aurora with her older brother Jerry and younger brother Dick. Kay went on to graduate from Knox College and that is also where she met Max Gibson whom she married in 1949. Kay is survived by her husband, Max Gibson of 64 years and also their five children, Linda Daniels (Dan) of Snohomish, WA; Steve Gibson (Becky) of Redmond, WA; Robert Gibson (Drea) of Fall City, WA; Douglas Gibson (Lisa) of North Conway, NH; and Carol Klentschy(Jim) of Spokane, WA. She also has four grandchildren, Mark Peters (Jenny) of Seattle, WA; Danielle Valencia (Gabe) of Redmond, WA; Gwendolyn Gibson (fiancé Zach) of Bellevue, WA; and Conner Klentschy of Spokane, WA. There are also three great grandchildren Hayley Peters, Molly Peters and Riley Peters. She also has a step-grand daughter Dannie Nemes (Rob) and three step-great grandchildren, Devin Daniels-Sesson, Ryan Nemes and Leo Nemes. Kay was an active member at Village Green. She also enjoyed trips to the Casino's, travelling both within the United States and abroad, reading, working on puzzles, playing cards, going to plays and just being with family. She thoroughly enjoyed riding the "Mystery Bus" to surprise locations on Sunday afternoons.
