Sara Beverly, 89, of Punta Gorda, died October 8, 2022. She was born July 1, 1933, in Chatta County, Georgia and came to Charlotte County area in 1968 from Fort Myers. She assisted her husband, Lloyd Beverly, Sr. in ministry for 38 years for the Assemblies of God, before retiring from Rhodes Furniture. Survivors include: son, Lloyd Beverly, Jr. of North Carolina; daughters, Lateresa Loboschefski of Spring Texas, and Cassandra Hirschy of Port Charlotte, 10 grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Open Viewing will be at Kay’s-Pongers Funeral Home in Port Charlotte on October 18th from 11:00-12:00 p.m. Tuesday, with graveside services to follow at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens in Punta Gorda.
