Marilyn was an extraordinary wife, sister, aunt, and friend, adored by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She led a successful career as an Executive Assistant for prominent business leaders in the finance industry in New York City. Marilyn and her beloved husband Edward enjoyed their retirement sailing in Long Island, NY, cherishing time with family and creating lasting memories.
She is survived by her sisters Barbara Degen and Katherine Ernst, her niece Diane Zukowski, her niece Elizabeth Gubitosi, her nephew William Phippen, her great-niece Alexis Langlois, whom she shared a special bond with, as well as several other great nieces and nephews. Marilyn was preceded in death by her mother, Rosemary Leddy Seaman, and her husband, Edward Crawford.
A Committal Service will be held at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens in Punta Gorda, FL, on the 22nd of May, from 11:00 am to 11:30 am. The funeral arrangements are being handled by Kays-Ponger Uselton Funeral Home in Punta Gorda, Florida.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Wounded Warrior Project or St Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Marilyns memory.
Marilyn’s legacy of love, dedication of family, and meticulous nature will be cherished by all who knew her.
