Tea MacKenzie Akins

Tea Akins was born in Tullahoma, TN on June 7, 2011. She had a vibrant love of life that showed through her love of singing and dancing, collecting stickers, jewelry, going shopping, watching TV, Easter being her favorite holiday, her friends Ginger and Tom with her favorite person being her brother “Bubba”. Tea is preceded in death by her sister Mackenzie Rae Reynolds; and grandparents Robert “Hunnybun” and Aliene “Ross” Akins.

In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made to the Tea Mackenzie Akins Memorial Fund at the First National Bank to assist with family expenses.

Visitation will be 5-8pm on Thursday November 7, 2024 at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home with the Funeral Services being 2pm on Friday November 8, 2024. Interment will be at Maplewood Cemetery.

Tea is survived by her father Thomas Akins of Shelbyville; mother Kim Wilbert of Pulaski; brothers Jacob “Bubba” Reynolds (Heather) of Pulaski, Darrell Akins of Shelbyville, Darien Akins of Shelbyville, Stylz Wilbert of Lewisburg; sister Madziyonna Calloway of Nashville; nephew Odin Reynolds; grandparents Steven Walls and Joan Walls of Pulaski.
