He was born on December 3, 1958 in Pulaski, TN, his parents were the late Roger Thomas and Canzader Pearl Williams Birdsong, preceded in death by brother, Alton Dwight Sands and niece Sabrina Kay Pierce.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, 4-8-2015, from 4pm to 8pm at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2015, at 2PM at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home with burial in Maplewood Cemetery.
Survivors are: wife, Kimberly Birdsong of Athens, AL, sons, Christopher Lee Shupe of Dickson, TN, Zachary Smith and John Douglas both of Athens, AL, Dexter Douglas of Havelock, NC, Byron Moore of Athens, AL, daughters, Cynthia Michelle Birdsong of Nashville, TN, Amy Lynn Birdsong of Huntsville, AL, Yolanda Douglas of Athens, AL, brother, Roger Birdsong, Sr. of Nashville, TN, sister, Donna Arthur of Pulaski, TN, special cousin, Timothy Fielding of Athens, AL, 11 grandchildren.
