She was born in Pulaski, TN on July 26, 1934, a retired hairdresser, a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church ,and United Methodist Women. Her parents were the late Walter Leslie and Mary Elaine Garner, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Jones, Jr. and brother J. C. Walls.
She is survived by her son, Steve Jones and Lisa of Granbury, TX, daughter, Kim Tate and Rodney of Pulaski, brothers, Leslie Walls and Larry Joe Walls both of Pulaski, sisters, Alvie Wilburn of Prospect, TN, Mary Zeigler of Chattanooga, TN, 3 grandchildren, 1 step grandchild, and 1 step great-grandchild.
Visitation will be on Thursday, July 12, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 13, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home with the burial to follow at Maplewood Cemetery.
