She fought it bravely until there was nothing left to try to help her. She always had a smile, even near the very end of her life. She was born on October 20, 1977. Her maternal grandfather was the late Joe L. Bryant, paternal grandparents were the late Wendell and Pat Griggs, she was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors are: mother, Anita Jo Bryant, father, Richard Earl Griggs, daughters, Amy Lynn Ervin, Brandalynn Annette Ervin and Destiny Aaliyah Minchey, maternal grandmother, Joyce B. Bryant who helped raise her, uncles, Gary J. Bryant and Wade Griggs who loved her dearly, several special cousins including Heather Kuhn and special friends Christy Watkins and Peggy Golden who helped care for her in her final days and all who stayed by her bedside as she was passing.
Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, 7-17-2014, at 3 p.m. at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home with burial in Lynnwood Cemetery.
