Dr. Sylvester H. Massmann, 89, passed away March 12, 2013. He is survived by his devoted wife of 56 years Joan Massmann; children, Tom (Jeannine) Massmann of Los Angeles CA., Ann Massmann of Albuquerque NM.; grandchildren, Jacqueline (David) Paciorek of White Bear Lake MN., David Massmann of St. Paul MN., Ryan Massmann of Pueblo CO.; great-grandchildren, Taylor and Natalie Paciorek, also surviving him are numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Sylvester was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and served in World War II and a retired College Professor of many years. He was an active member of Holy Family Parish and the local Democratic Party. Funeral Mass will be Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 11:00 am at Holy Family Parish.
