Shirley A. Carara, 80, went home to be with the Lord on February 24, 2015. She is preceded in death by her son, Scott; parents, John and Mary Tomsick; and sister, Nina Lee Tomsick. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Richard; children, Michael (Shelley) Carara, Cynthia (Mark) Bragazzi, Debra (Dan) Mason, Mary Carara, J.D. (Cindy) Carara; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; siblings, John, Sharon, Judy, Annie; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Shirley will be missed by all that knew her. At the families request, no food or flowers. Donations may be made to Sangre de Cristo Hospice through the funeral home. Rosary 7pm, this evening at TG McCarthy Funeral Home.
