Reginald “Reggie” Montano, 87, passed away July 11, 2012. He is survived by his wife Janet Montano; children Tom (Dixie) Montano, Danny (Kelly) Montano; Regina Hutchings, David (Renee) Montano, Donnie Montano, Salina Montano; step children Rory (Debbie) Malloy and Duane (Jamie) Malloy; grandchildren Dr. Ron, Rob, Mark, Dr. Melissa, Tim, Lisa, Brad, Dannete, Ryan, Justin, Amanda, Matthew, Heidi, Sara, Little Brandon, Big Brandon, Ashley, Chaz, Rory Jr., Danielle, Whitney and Ashley; numerous great grandchildren and; great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family. He is also survived by step mom Cora; sisters Lori Frazier, Judy Blake and Wilma (Reg) Martinez and mother in law Martha McClintock. Reggie was preceded in death by his wife Dora; brothers John and Bobby and a step son Danny Malloy. Reggie served in the US Navy from 1942-1948 and worked as an electrician in Pueblo for Local Union #12. He was an avid musician from the age of 4, enjoyed semi-pro boxing, softball, drawing, fishing, camping, hunting, golfing. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 10-11 am followed by funeral service at 11:00 both at Valley Community Church in Colorado City. Visitation in Pueblo will be held Wednesday night from 4-6 pm with funeral service Thursday at 10:00 am both at Imperial Funeral Home. In lieu of food and flowers, contributions may be made to Sangre de Cristo Hospice in his name through the Funeral Home office.
