Patricia Clara Martinez

Pueblo Resident Patricia Clara Martinez passed away peacefully July 3, 2020 at her home under Hospice care with her two sons by her side. Patricia was born December 30, 1946 in Yakima, Washington, the daughter of Adolfo Gardunio and Maria Garcia Gardunio. Patricia devoted her life to caring for her family, especially her two sons. She was an active member of the Apostolic Assemblies of God.

Patricia was an amazing mother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend who enjoyed attending church and praising God, crocheting, making jewelry, going to yard sales, and above all spending time with her loving family. She was a very loving and generous person. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her sons, Ernie Martinez Jr. and Albert Martinez of Pueblo, CO; husband, Alonso Martinez of Pueblo, CO; siblings Orlinda Cordova Guzman, Louisa (Sam) Valdez • Delia (Eliu) Martinez • Martha (Alfonso) DeHerrera• Leova (Jay) Flora • Jim (Mellie) Gardunio • Irene Gardunio, and sister-in-law Theresa Gardunio. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Carmen DeHerrera, and brother Thomas Gardunio.

A private viewing and funeral service will be held on Friday, July 10, 2020. Due to COVID-19 regulations, attendance must be limited. The care and arrangements have been entrusted to Imperial Funeral Home of Pueblo.
