Nettie T. Gurule, 98, went to be with her Savior, with her daughter by her side, on December 27, 2022, in Los Lunas, NM. She was born on September 17, 1924 in Saguache, CO. The daughter of Condio and Elifonsa (Manchego) Velasquez.
She loved spending time in the kitchen cooking wonderful meals for her large family.
She was the oldest daughter of 12 siblings. Only surviving sibling is her youngest sister Helen.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Elisardo Gurule, four of her seven sons: Eddie Gurule, Toby Gurule, Duke Gurule and Arthur Gurule. Also, four grandsons: Danny Gurule, Sebastian Gurule, Daniel Gurule and Jason Gurule, and one great grandson: Kenneth Jones.
Surviving are her other three sons: Jimmy Gurule (Patricia) Pueblo, CO, Aldolfo Martinez (Josie) Espanola, NM, Danny Gurule (Peggy) Pueblo, CO and one daughter, Rosann Gurule (Bernie) Los Lunas, NM. 30 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren, and one great-great-great granddaughter. Numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are: Rudylee Armijo, Justin Gurule, Jimmy Gurule, Arthur Jr., Gurule (Wedo) Patrick Gurule and Jamie Gurule (all grandsons)
Rosary will be at 11:30 am January 9th at Imperial Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, followed by burial at 1:00 pm at Imperial Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
