Lorraine Maryan Rhéaume

Born in Chicago, Ill, she was the daughter of Stella and Edward Kowalski. She graduated from St Alphonsus Catholic High School, Chicago.

She was proud to say she was an Executive Secretary with the Florsheim Shoe Company, Chicago for several years and then the newlyweds ventured west to help start Dr. Stanley’s medical practice in the 2nd largest city in the state, Pueblo, Co. Her son Dr. Gordon Rhéaume has said she was the practices’ longest employee.

She was a member of Our Lady of the Meadows Catholic church and enjoyed golfing, sewing

and serving in several other volunteer organizations. She also loved going to the YMCA with friends.

Children: Stanley C Rhéaume, Jr, predeceased, Bryan T Rhéaume and Dr. Gordon P. Rhéaume (MaraBeth).

Other family members and special friends: Penny Witt (cousin) of AZ, (nephews) Greg Pettinella, Chris Pettinella, and Scott Pettinella (Mary Ann) of Massachusetts, Becky Vialpando of Pueblo, Cheri Ward of Pueblo, Rojean Dutton of Pueblo, Fred Schwartz of AZ, Randy and Lorri Chappell of Colorado Springs and Nita Fosman (Neil) of NY and Terry Kravitz (Rabbi Yaacov) of Pennsylvania. And a special thanks to Bambi Creek RN and all Lorraine’s caregivers with A Place at Home and The Center at ParkWest.

The memorial service and graveside Inurnment will be held on Wednesday July 24, 2024, at 2:00pm at Imperial Gardens Chapel. Memorial donations in lieu of flowers, may be made to Our Lady of the Meadows Catholic Church, Pueblo, CO or The Abby of St Walburga of Virginia Dale, Colorado.
