Lester "Les" Paul Garrison

Lester (Les) Paul Garrison, also known as Papa or Sonny, beloved husband, father, grandfather & great-grandfather passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on March 21, 2024. Les was born on February 5, 1943, in Pueblo, CO to Lester Raye & Christine (Fisher) Garrison. He is survived by his very loving wife, Dolli; his children, Kim (Bryon) Shawcroft, Khris (Charles) Fuentes and Randy Garrison; his cherished grandchildren, Khrissy (Lawrence) Sais, Nicolle Shawcroft, Kelsey (JD) Davis, Marcus Shawcroft, Garrad (Samantha) Martinez and Jake Garrison; and his great grand-children James, Rogan, Benjamin, Yris & Flame. He is also survived by his siblings, Joyce (Jim) Arnold and Reaford (Joann) Garrison, numerous nieces, nephews & special friends; sister-in-law, Andrea (Spike) Burrows & Ken (Sharon) Goodrich. Les is preceded in death by his mother, Christine; Father Lester Raye (Velma), sisters, Yvonne (Don) Shunk & Regina (Gary) Grabow. Les graduated from East High & worked for the Rio Grande / Union Pacific railroad for 30+ years. He was known for his passion for golf, his sense of humor & quick wit endeared to all who knew him, bringing laughter & joy to every gathering.

A Viewing will take place from 6-8 PM on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at Imperial Funeral Home.

A celebration of Les’ life will be held at Imperial Funeral Home in Pueblo, CO on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, please donate to his favorite charity, St. Jude’s. A special message of gratitude is extended to Abode Hospice for their compassionate care during Les’ final days. Les will be deeply missed but forever remembered for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for his family. May he rest in peace, knowing that his legacy lives on in the hearts of all who were touched by his presence.
