Leroy Harvey, 91, of Canon City, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday, February 10, 2018. He is preceded in death by his parents Harry and Helen, brothers Ralph and Harold; daughter Sharon, granddaughter Jana; first wife Delores Haley; and son-n-law Walter. Leroy is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Dorothy; children Doyle (Mary) Harvey, Claudia (Henry) Maciuk, David (Cathie) Harvey, Catherine (Walter, deceased) Wyatt and Christopher (Cindy) Harvey; grandchildren Kimberly (Chris), Scott, Jonathan (Melissa), Marc, Kara (Patrick), Chad (Desiree), Miranda (Jeremiah), Dustin (Brandy) and Adam (Lindsey); 24 great grandchildren with one on the way; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Leroy proudly served his country in the Air Corps during WWII. He was a Crane Millwright at CF & I for 32 years. He also was the Athletic Director at the Steel Center teaching children to swim and box (Golden Gloves). A visitation for Leroy will be held Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 10:00am with his funeral service following 11:00am in the Imperial Funeral Home Chapel in Pueblo, with burial to follow in the Imperial Memorial Gardens.
