The family became members of King of Kings Lutheran Church when they moved to Southeastern Colorado in 1976. Along with friends, Lee and Bill square danced and played cards for many years and in retirement they enjoyed traveling: visiting all 50 states, Europe, Canada, Mexico, Africa, the Middle East and Australia. Lee enjoyed reading, bridge, chess, crossword puzzles, sewing and mostly watching her grandchildren’s activities. Lee greatly appreciated her friendships in the Red Hat Society. An avid sports fan, she cheered on her favorite teams including the Broncos, Nuggets and especially her Rockies.
