James LeRoy Martin, 75, lifetime resident of Pueblo, passed away Oct. 1, 2012 at home surrounded by his family after a long battle with cancer. He is preceded in death by his parents, Avant and Donald Martin; brother, Arthur; and in-laws, Nick and Lena Venezio. Survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Dorothy Martin; sons, James Martin and Jack (Christi) Martin; grandchildren, Jimmy, Josh, Jeremiah, and Desiree Martin; and great-granddaughter, Isabella Lewis-Martin. James served in the US Navy and returned home to Pueblo to work at the CF&I and Oregon Steel, until his retirement. James enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, travelling on vacations with his wife and grandchildren, and being with his friends and family. Viewing, 5 – 7pm Thursday, Imperial Funeral Home.
