Gertrude Puntar, 103, passed away August 19, 2022 in Pueblo, Colorado. She was the widow of Albert Joseph Puntar; they shared over 50 years of marriage together. Born in Pueblo, Colorado on February 2, 1919, she was the daughter of Frank and Mary (Pachek) Miklich. She graduated from Central High School, and retired from Mayfair Markets in San Diego, California. Gertrude belonged to the Catholic Church, and enjoyed her Slovenian Heritage. She will be remembered for making homemade noodles for soups, the best turkey dressing, and her trips to Junkins Park Gertrude is survived by her sons Albert “Bill” Puntar (Grace) of Lakeside, California and Richard Matthew Puntar of Pueblo, Colorado, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her son Jim Puntar and her brothers Frank (Bernice) Miklich and Edward (Helen) Miklich. A private service will be held
