Frank circled the world several times in a nuclear submarine. His duties included baking at night, listening to sonar and apprenticing in mechanical repair.
He was known for his ability to horse trade for goods and services. Many of his stories contained some level of blarney within them. Frank studied forestry and music at Southern Colorado University. He could sing like an angel, so much so, that his services were requested by many local churches for important events. He taught all the grandkids to sing "O Tannenbaum" (Oh Christmas Tree in German). He loved his Denver Broncos and enjoyed a few seasons with his best friend Kathy in the stands.
Frank met Kathy at her eldest sister’s wedding and he loved her with all his heart. He often reminisced about her wild side and her riding horseback with her beautiful hair flying in the wind
