Dorothy Marie Freeman

Dorothy Marie Freeman, 93, went to her eternal home Wednesday, April 21, 2021, following a lifetime of service as a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, nurse at St. Mary Corwin Hospital, and member of Holy Family Parish and the Third Order of Saint Francis for over 50 years. She was the daughter of Leo and Dorothy Jonick, and graduated from Central High School and Nurses Trading at Minnequa School of Nursing. She married Normal Bensyl Freeman September 25, 1948. Dorothy is survived by sisters Kathryn Connors (John), Margaret Wilcox and Eileen Brown (Gene) and 8 children: Howard Freeman, Martha Freeman, Kaye Freeman Zwiacher (John), Gary Freeman, Kathy Wilson (Randy), Gale Freeman, Robin Ivan (Prim) and Julie Laven (Ron); 23 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. She is preceded to heaven by her husband Normal and grandson Robert. Grandchildren include: William Freeman (Rosie), Brandon Freeman (Lindsey), Howard Freeman II, Stacy Freeman, Amanda Olson (Josh), Amy Freeman-Gasperetti, Jen Meyers, Michael Freeman (Martha), LaRona Jones (Bobby), Eric Zwiacher, Chloe Zwiacher, Christy Leachman (Michael), Heather Ragland (Jerry), Kevin Wilson, Ethan Wilson (Serena), Caitlin Pace (Alec), Andrew Ivan (Megan), Lyndsey Klein, Ashley Ivan, Leslie Ivan, Joshua Laven, Daniel Laven and Jessica Reynolds (Kevin.) Great-Grandchildren include: Savanah, Haley Wilcox (Shelby), Bethany, Garrett, Caden, Taylor, Jordan, Gunnar, Ryder, Archer, James, Clayton, Brantley, Mariah, Anniah, CJ, Jade, Braiden, Jesse, Preston, Rachel, Emma, Lily, Fiona, Teddy, Eva, Elliot, Eisley, Harper, Austin, Kailee, Luke, Leanna, Jackson, Wade, Nathan, Rylan, Skylar, Brylee, Chandler, Tyler, Dylan, Sullivan, Kembree, Kaysen, KJ and Colton.
