Dee was a member of St. Pius X Parish for 62 years. She never missed a Sunday of church and would always be found at Southwest Grill after. She prayed before every meal. Prayed the rosary every night before bed and in the morning before she ate her cream of wheat. She took pride in her yard. She was always working on her flower beds and maintained the greenest lawn. She routinely made it to Cripple Creek and had her one and only penny machine. She collected angels and always opened her home to anyone who needed a place to stay.
Dee will always be remembered for her warm hugs, sweet memories, tender conversations, faith in God, hot fresh coffee that was never too strong, famous cabbage rolls, fried potatoes, and perfect baked goods. She was the best source of wisdom, security, and love for our family. She was a gentle, loving, caring and understanding; wife, mother, grandmother, nina, aunt, sister, daughter, and friend. Dee will be dearly missed by everyone whose life she has touched.
Services will be held at St. Pius X Parish. Viewing is at 1:30 pm, followed by a funeral Mass at 2:00pm. Interment will take place at Imperial Memorial Gardens. All family and friends that want to show their respect are more than welcome to attend.
