Arthur (Art) Lamar Talbert, 75, born on October 1st 1948 passed away February 15th 2024 in Pueblo Colorado. Born in Delta, Utah, he was the son of Joseph Talbert (deceased) and Rita Nelms (deceased).
Art graduated from CSUP after he was retired from the Marines and Truck Driving (32years). He was a member of many social clubs including the ELKS Lodge, Pueblo Bikers United and Pueblo Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Art enjoyed playing pool, motorcycle rides, traveling and visiting with friends and family. He will be remembered by his contagious smile, spontaneous personality, witty comebacks, loving heart, free spirit, laughter, and stories that can keep you pulled in and entertained the whole time speaking with him.
Art is survived by his children Deanna Sanchez, Denise Judd, Lloyd (Maria Valdez) Quintana JR., Leann (Kenny) Chavez, and Susie (Alex) Lamas; grandchildren Kenny Chavez Jr., Alex Talbert Sr., Ariel Talbert, April Talbert, Torrey Quintana and Gage Quintana; great grandchildren Josiah Talbert, Alex Talbert Jr., Amanda Talbert, Paul Matamoros Jr., Andrew Matamoros, Samuel Sintas, Demetrius Talbert; siblings Lonnie (Dottie) Talbert; and other family members Camille Christianson, Tony Talbert JR, Kayline Dee Talbert, Marcie Talbert, Kristina Talbert, Dee Dee Talbert, Kenneth Talbert, Pinky Smith and Many other nieces and nephews
Art was preceded in death by Amanda Talbert, Trinity Talbert, Kenneth Talbert, Tony Talbert Sr., Joey Talbert, Eddie Talbert, Ramona Talbert and Irita Talbert.
A visitation for the public will be on March 1st from 11:00AM to 2:00PM.
A graveside service will be held on March 4th at 1:00 PM at Imperial Memorial Gardens, with a reception to follow at the Elks Lodge 426 N Santa Fe Avenue in Pueblo, Colorado around 2:00 PM.
Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Imperial Funeral Home in the name of Art Talbert or Deanna Sanchez.
