Narragansett- Connolly, William E. "Ted", age 72, of North Port, FL, Narragansett, and formerly of Cranston, died Thursday, suddenly at Venice Regional Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Anna A. (DeLiello) Connolly. He was born in Providence, a son of the late John and Helen (Chalifoux) Connolly. Mr. Connolly was a Truck Driver for the Arco/Atlantic Richfield Oil Company for 25 years retiring in 1986. He was life member of the Cranston Council #1738 Knights of Columbus. He was a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus Hendricken Assembly. He was a Korean War Air Force Veteran. He was a member of the American Legion Post #20 and a member of the South Kingstown Elks. He is survived by two daughters, Mary Ann Cook and her husband Robert of South Kingstown, Christine M. Connolly, of Mankato, MN. Grandfather of Matthew R. Cook. He is survived by one sister, Helen Stone of Spring Hills, FL. He was the brother of the late, John and Robert Connolly, M. Thelma LaCroix, and Dorothy Hall. A mass of Christian Burial will be celeberated Tuesday at 10:00 am in Christ the King Church 180 Old North Road, Kingstown to which relatives and friends are invited. Visiting Hours Monday 4-7 pm in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home 142 Centerville Road (Rt 117) Warwick. Burial with Military Honors in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. In lieu of flowers donations to the American Cancer Society 931 Jefferson Blvd. Suite 3004 Warwick, RI 02886 in his memory would be appreciated.
