Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Antonio and Pasqualena (Mandora) Lepre.
He was the beloved father of Robin (Lepre) Salvo and her husband Anthony; cherished grandfather of Nicole and Anthony Salvo; loving great-grandfather of Owen and Walker Salvo; devoted brother of the late Marie, Anthony, and Raymond Lepre; and adored uncle of Raymond R. Lepre, Michael A. Lepre, and Jesse N. Lepre.
Robert had the unique ability to light up any room he entered, driven by an undeniable zest for life. A passionate sports enthusiast, Robert’s love for horse racing was unmatched. He spent many sunny afternoons at the race track, his enthusiasm as lively as the races themselves.
But beyond his love for sports, Robert was a cherished presence during the holidays, always arriving with a twinkle in his eye. Armed with jokes and anecdotes, he made everyone feel special and kept laughter flowing as he playfully debated the best holiday treats. He also enjoyed spending time with his cherished cousins.
Robert also dedicated several years of his career to TL Jewelry, where he channeled his creativity and meticulous attention to detail into crafting exquisite jewelry.
His visitation will be held Tuesday, April 23, 2024 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in the Pontarelli-Marino Home, 971 Branch Ave, Providence with a memorial service at 6:30 p.m. Burial will be private.
