Peter D. Kane

Peter D. Kane, age 79, self-styled as “Agreeable Pete,” was the loving and devoted husband of Marcy Doctor, beloved father of Matthew (Tamar) Kane and the late Elizabeth Kane, adoring grandfather of Kayla and Hailey Kane, loyal brother of Joel Kane and the late Harris Kane, and fond uncle of nephews Charles and Jeremy Kane.

He was a proud graduate of The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania (’64), a former board member of Charlton Memorial Hospital, an avid tennis fan and supporter of the Tennis Hall of Fame, an avid traveler of the world and the seven seas with his darling Marcy, and enamored for over five decades by all things Newfie. He will be greatly missed by his entire family, including his partners and colleagues at Kane and Kane CPAs.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Temple Beth El, 385 High Street, Fall River, MA 02720. Graveside burial to follow in Beth El Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the ACPMP Research Foundation (www.acpmp.org) or the Newfoundland Club of America Rescue Network (www.ncarescue.org).

Arrangements are in the care of Sugarman-Sinai Memorial Chapel, Providence.
