Michael spent his final days lovingly surrounded by his family. Born in Providence on May 18, 1962, he was the youngest of four children born to the late Michael C. and Christine R. (Montecalvo) Piccoli.
Michael had a kind and playful disposition and a deep passion for rock music. He took great pride in his career as a lineman, installing fiber optic wiring across the country for over 20 years. In addition to his career as a lineman, Michael also worked as a chef at various restaurants throughout his lifetime, where he expressed his passion and creativity through food and cooking.
He is survived by his daughter Jessica Lisi, 3 grandchildren—Hailey, Madison, and Jayden—and 1 great grandchild, Matthew. He was the beloved brother of Robert V. Piccoli, Joan R. Piccoli, and the late Anthony M. Piccoli. Michael will be dearly missed by his family, including 4 nieces, 2 nephews, several great nieces, nephews, and many cousins.
A service to honor Michael’s life will be held on Wednesday, September 4, at 11:00 am at his home church, Ocean State Baptist Church, 600 Douglas Pike, Smithfield, RI.
