Moore, Maureen C. (Carney-Gallagher) age 68 of Warwick, RI, passed away at her home on Monday, September 7, 2009 with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of Wayne D. Moore, and the late Joseph Carney. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of Bernard and Catherine (Campbell) Gallagher. In addition to her husband of over 22 years, she leaves five loving daughters, Catherine (Tim) Martin of Warwick, RI, Lara (Ryan) Miyahira of Portland, OR, Annemarie (Will) Axon of Birmingham, AL, Danielle (Mike) McInerney of Tuscaloosa, AL and Valerie (Chris) Vallancourt of Maynard, MA. She is the sister of Brian Gallagher of Lakewood, NJ, and the late Donald and Patrick Gallagher. Maureen also leaves 10 precious and celebrated grandchildren. She was a loving and vibrant person who was devoted to her faith, family and community. In addition to serving as a Eucharistic Minister at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, Maureen served Holy Eucharist to patients at Kent County Hospital. She also served as a volunteer at Women and Infants Hospital. She was the first woman member of the Casselberry, Florida Chapter of Rotary International. A Concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial will be held on FRIDAY, September 11, 2009 at 10am in St. Gregory the Great Church 360 Cowesett Rd, Warwick. A graveside interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in West Greenwich. Visiting hours will be held on THURSDAY, September 10, 2009 from 4 to 8pm at The RUSSELL J. BOYLE & SON Funeral Home 142 Centerville Rd., WARWICK.
