Marcia C. Hanoian

Born in Pawcatuck, CT, she was the youngest daughter of the late Thomas J. Capalbo Esq. and Leona (Prescott) Capalbo.

She graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 1960, with a bachelor’s degree in English. Ten years as a social worker for the State of Rhode Island, taught her deep compassion and the importance of doing small gestures for others less fortunate. After marrying in 1970, she became a full-time homemaker.

She was the loving mother of Amy Hanoian-Fontana (Rick); cherished grandmother of Grace Fontana; adored sister of Beverly O’Keefe, Thomas J. Capalbo Jr., and the late June Hartford Alley; and much loved aunt of several nieces and nephews.

At Marcia’s request, her funeral services and burial will be private.
