Born in Providence a daughter of Edward Werbicki and the late Dolores C. (DiMuccio) Vingi. Beloved wife of Michael F. Marchetti. Devoted mother to Marissa L. Marchetti and Michael A. Marchetti. Daughter in law of Frank and Elissa (Mastrostefano) Marchetti. She also leaves aunts, uncles and cousins.
Kim’s life was marked by kindness, dedication, and love for those around her. She spent 3.5 years pursuing her education at Rhode Island College, balancing her studies with work at the North Providence Senior Center, where she cared deeply for the people she served. Her career later led her to Luigi’s Restaurant for over 20 years, where she became a cherished member of the team, forming meaningful connections with coworkers and customers alike.
Before dedicating herself to raising her children, Marissa and Michael, Kim was an avid golfer. As a mother, her greatest pride was watching her children grow—from dance recitals and football games to celebrating their adult achievements and life adventures. Her unwavering support and warmth were at the heart of her family life, making her an exceptional wife and mother.
Kim’s passions extended to her love of cooking, gardening, and the companionship of her beloved dogs, Max, Rocky, and Niko. Through her work, friendships, and family, she touched countless lives with her caring spirit. Kim’s legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend her visitation on Monday, October 21, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM in the Pontarelli-Marino Funeral Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
