Karen C. Flynn, age 71, of Greenville, passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2022. She was a daughter of the late John F. and Florence (Connell) Flynn. Born and raised in Providence, Karen was also a resident of Warwick for 25 years.
She attended St. Raymond Elementary and St. Mary’s Academy of the Visitation where she was an outstanding basketball player. Later on in life, she took up golfing and was “better than me” according to her father.

Karen was an employee of Star Market for many years. She worked at other grocery businesses after Star closed, but retired from work when her health suffered.

Her sister Jacqueline “Jackie” unfortunately predeceased her only nine months ago. She also leaves several loyal friends, Eileen Lima and Dot Marge Martin, who were mainstays in her life.
The staff at Greenville Nursing Center cared for Karen for the last five years. The Flynn family thanks them for their attention and friendship to her.
