Jose B. Rivera, 84, of Johnston, died Monday, August 19, 2019 at home.
Born in Puerto Rico, he was a son of the late Ramon and Ramona (Aponte) Rivera
Jose worked for Electric Boat as a professional welder for many years before his retirement.
He leaves his children, David McCurry ( Mary-Ann ), Kathrina McCurry, Kristina Rivera, Cheryl Rivera, Marilyn Gallucci (Peter), Lisa Gonzalez (Mario), Valerie Giblin, and Alan Rivera, two brothers, Phil Rivera & Oswaldo Rivera, four sisters, Gladys Rivera, Hilde Rivera, Ramonita Rivera, and Gloria Rivera, as well as many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. He was the father of the late Debra Rivera and Steven Rivera.
