WarwickSullivan, John F. Jr., 74, died on Wednesday, June 13, 2007, at home. He was the beloved husband of Maureen A. (Loughnane) Sullivan for forty seven years. Born in the Fox Point section of Providence on December 18, 1932, he was a son of the late John Francis and Elizabeth C. (Downes) Sullivan Sr. He was a 1951 graduate of LaSalle Academy and a 1958 graduate of Providence College. John was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member, and past Grand Knight, of the Saint Paul Knights of Columbus Council, a former Chairman of the First Ward Democratic Committee, and a communicant of Saint Paul Church. John began his career with O'Donnell's Men's Clothing, then continued at Briggs' Ltd., Hillhouse Ltd., and CLC Menswear. Beside his wife, he leaves three daughters; Kathleen Murphy and her husband Robert, of Watertown, MA, Patricia Cousineau and her husband Bruce, of Richmond, Maureen Keenan and her husband Mark, of West Greenwich, and his beloved son, John F. Sullivan, III, and his wife Tonya, of East Greenwich. John also leaves his beautiful grandchildren, Matthew and Luke Murphy, Corrine and Courtney Cousineau, and Austin and Skyler Sullivan. He also leaves his sister-in-law, Lucy, wife of his late twin brother, James F. Sullivan. The funeral will be held Saturday, at 8:45 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, (Rt.117), Warwick. Concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Saint Paul Church, One Saint Paul Place, Cranston. Burial will be in Saint Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visiting hours Friday, 4 - 8 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Saint Paul Church, One Saint Paul Place, Cranston, RI 02905 in his memory will be appreciated.
