Harry V. Mikaelian

Haroutune "Harry" Mikaelian, 72, of Dayville CT and formerly of Providence, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2015 at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester. Harry was the beloved husband of Dorothy (Gilbert) Mikaelian. Mr. Mikaelian was born in Providence, a son of the late Vahan and Ovsanna (Glorian) Mikaelian. Harry was an entretpeneur, in the clothing industry. He was a loving and caring man who was devoted to his family, he will be missed by many. Besides his loving wife Dorothy of over 48 years, he is survived by a son Vahan Mikaelian of CT, and the brother of Arakel Mikaelian of Pawtucket. Harry was also the loving grandfather of 6 and great-grandfather of 2 great-grandsons.Mr. Mikaelian's funeral will be held on Monday, May 18, 2015 at 10 am from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home 331 Smith Street, Providence, followed by a funeral service at 11am in Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Armenian Church 70 Jefferson St. in Providence. Interment will follow in North Burial Ground Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, May 17th from 4 to 7pm.
