Born in Westerly, she was a daughter of the late Domenic and Rose M. (Vangieri) Giuliano. Gloria was also the oldest sister to the late Louis Giuliano and Roselina (Giuliano) Root.
She is survived by her siblings, Jeannette Giammarco, Robert L. Giuliano and Arline Loffredo. 12 nieces and nephews and many great and great great nieces and nephews.
Prior to retirement, she worked as a managing supervisor for the State of Rhode Island Department of Employment Security.
Gloria loved singing, dancing, traveling, golf, and playing cards, especially poker night every Friday with her sisters and life long friends.
Gloria was full of loving-kindness, her caring giving nature would always seek out those in need.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to visit with Gloria’s family on Friday the 22nd at 3 pm, for a Celebration of Life Service at the Oasis of Grace Church 464 Silver Spring Street, Providence RI. A time of fellowship will be held immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to www.brokenchainsministry.com in her memory to house the broken and homeless.
Visitation will be from 3:00-3:15pm, prior to the Celebration of Life Service.
