Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Esther (Pearson) Celano.
Devoted mother to; Denise F. Rondot, and Tracey A. Vierra. Cherished grandmother of Alexander R. Vierra and his fiancé, Jessica Kuncio.
She is survived by her sisters; Beverly Cusati, Bernice Boushee, Elizabeth Capraro, and Marie Cobleigh (Girard).
She was predeceased by her son, Robert C. Rondot and her brother, Andrew Celano.
Dorothy is remembered as a warm, loving and caring woman with a bubbly personality. Dedicated to her family, she enjoyed living life to its fullest. Her grandson Alexander was the “apple of her eye”. She enjoyed trips to the casino, playing bingo and spending time with her fur baby grandchildren. As a hobby she loved diamond art painting. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Monday, October 7, 2024 at 10am for her funeral service and burial in Highland Memorial Park, 1 Rhode Island Avenue, Johnston. Attendees are asked to wait at the main entrance of the cemetery to join in the procession to the chapel.
