Diane Constance Riordan

Smithfield - GreenvilleDiane C. (Neveu) Riordan, 65, of Greenville, RI passed away Thursday, February 23 in Miriam Hospital after a brief illness, surrounded by her loving family. She was the loving wife of Wallace Riordan.Diane was born in Woonsocket, and was a daughter of the late Roland and Constance (Boutiette) Neveu.She graduated from Woonsocket High School in 1969, and was also a graduate of Community College of Rhode Island. Diane worked at the Woonsocket Court House for many years and was employed at the Bryant University Chaffee Center. She was a communicant of St. Philip Church in Greenville.Diane loved to entertain at Christmas where her family gathered, and enjoyed spending quality time with her children and grandchildren.Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughter Anne Britt and her husband Vincent of Connecticut , and her son Sean Riordan and his wife Allana of Greenville; four grandchildren, Gavin, Caroline and Mary Britt and Camden Riordan. Diane is also survived by her two sisters; Rachel Neveu of Cumberland and Celeste Neveu of Milford, Ma., as well as several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Elaine Bottachiari.Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, February 28 at 9:30 am from the Russell J. Boyle and Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith St. Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am in St. Philip Church, Putnam Pike,Greenville. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
